Hades Headpiece
Headpiece for Hades in Ole Miss Theatre and Film’s production of Eurydice. Due to the constricted timing of his quick-change, we needed to combine the wig, horns, and cap as one whole headpiece. I created a buckram base with horsehair for pinning and securing into actor’s head. The cap is created from worbla, a thermoplastic, and the horns are added on using screws that thread through all layers, securing everything together while still allowing disassembly for adjustments or repairs.
