Nightmare Masks

Sculpted 7 and cast and painted 11 masks for Lyric Repertory Company’s 2019 production of Mama Mia!. I dipped blocks of buckram into water to become malleable, then shaped and pinned into clay base to dry. After binding edges, they were painted to be ‘stone like’.
